    What it means

Literally “beyond one’s age.” Means beyond one’s years, more mature or capable than one’s age would suggest — “beyond one’s years,” “precocious,” “mature for one’s age.” E.g. “mądry nad wiek” — wise beyond one’s years.

    Vocabulary

    • wiek — age, century

    Grammar note

'Nad wiek' uses the accusative of 'wiek' after 'nad' — exceeding a limit.
